SFACCA Monthly Meeting on Virtual Inspections
The SFACCA Monthly Meeting was held on February 11th, at 5:30pm. at a new location… The Uncommon Path Brewing, at 710 Northwest 5th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311. Mark and Robin Worren of State Energy were the sponsors for the meeting. The guest speaker was Ian Cohen of Inspected, who spoke about Virtual Inspections, what contractors need to know, and how this impacts them.
Virtual inspections are now approved in Broward County, and now supports virtual HVAC inspections for contractors, allowing remote, video-based approvals for faster permitting, with providers like Inspected.com and Freedom Code Compliance streamlining the process, reducing delays, and letting crews work more efficiently. These services use live video, photos, and digital reports to meet Florida Building Code requirements, often providing same-day turnaround and improved project flow for AC replacements and other trades.
